Lisa Pearson played an angst-ridden teenager in San Francisco, and thus loves the ocean. She truly left her heart there and is returning in June.
She appreciates dark beauty, photography, theatre, and is still contemplating getting her first tattoo. She definitely does not care for small, cramped spaces or bees.
She earned a MFA from The Theatre School at DePaul University and an MA in teaching. She attempts to teach a love of reading and writing to adolescents. She adores her own two children.
She has shared personal stories at Voice Box, Write Club, Sad Clown, 10×9 Chicago, OutSpoken, and Writers Read.
