We are fearless.

Loose Chicks is a collection of courageous women who share experiences that most women keep to themselves. Each show features six exceptional writers and performers who allow themselves to be vulnerable as they share with uncommon honesty.

SPIEL CHICAGO INTERVIEWS THE LOOSE CHICKS!

SPIEL CHICAGO is a bi-weekly podcast that explores the progressive and thoughtful work of women in Chicago theater.

“I have had a long and interesting life,” says producer Roberta Miles. She chronicles her experiences (“Sex gone wrong stories–I have a lot of those”) in one woman show and in her monologues performed at Loose Chicks, a bi-monthly storytelling performance co-produced by Jillian Erickson. Roberta began writing after she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and found herself spending a lot of time in bed.

7pm @ Moah’s Ark, 1841 W Touhy Ave, Chicago, IL

Moah’s Ark is an urban microfarm, aka a big garden, in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood. We focus on permaculture both in our plantings, in our soil building and in our choices of crops. our end goal is a plot that provides food with minimal human input. We hope to be a model of a stable, self supporting food ecosystem and permanent home for wildlife and the community.
