Kelly Anchors co-founded Sweetback productions with her husband Mike McKune in 1994. She has written, adapted, directed, acted in and produced over 30 productions with Sweetback. Favorites include: Plan 9 from Outer Space, The Birds, sCarrie! The Musical, Deep Fried and Suck My Nose, Dorothy Mae and Her 1978 Rambler Ramblette and BiPolar Bitch. She has worked with many companies over her years in Chicago including Blind Parrot, Victory Gardens, Hell In a Handbag, and Curious Theater Branch.
