Jennifer Ould (pronounced “old”) moved to Chicago from North Carolina 15 years ago and found home here. She has a Master of Divinity degree and, in addition to her day job at a progressive and inclusive seminary in Hyde Park, she occasionally preaches at an Episcopal church on Sunday mornings and tells stories at Gilead – a queer, storytelling bar church – on Sunday evenings. She’s a sunshine, cider, and bourbon lover who runs, shows up for protests, believes in subversive goodness, and blogs at jennifereould.com where she advocates for social justice with her conservative evangelical family and friends.
